Soft polyethylene caps are more pliable than other Snap Caps and are easier to place on the vial. Popular choice when using a large number of caps at one time. These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility.

This septa was designed for specific, older instruments such as Agilent 1050 and to provide extra cleaning when "wiping" a needle. Also provides a small degree of better resealing after injection compared to Silicone Rubber / PTFE Septa.
